Go to the Shopify App Store and search for Shoppable Video Gallery by Aahana Technologies.
Click Add app and follow the prompts to install it on your store.
Once installed, the app will appear in your Shopify admin under Apps.
Tip
You must be logged into your Shopify admin to install apps. Make sure you have the required store permissions.
Step 2 — Add Theme App Extension
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize on your active theme. You can add the gallery globally (on all pages) or on a specific page:
Option A — Globally (all pages):
In the theme editor, click the App Embeds icon (bottom-left).
Find Shoppable Video Gallery and toggle it on.
The gallery block will be available across your entire store.
Option B — Specific page only:
Navigate to the page where you want the gallery (e.g. Home, Product, or a custom page).
Click Add section or Add block.
Search for Shoppable Video Gallery and add it.
Once the block is added, you will see a Widget ID input field. Follow the steps below to get your Widget ID from the app and paste it:
1. Open the Shoppable Video Gallery app from your Shopify admin
2. Go to the Widgets section
3. Click on your widget to open it
4. Copy the unique Widget ID shown on the widget page
5. Paste the Widget ID into the field in the theme editor
6. Click Save
Each widget has a unique ID.
If you create multiple widgets for different pages, make sure you paste the correct Widget ID into each placement. Using the wrong ID will display the wrong gallery.
Step 3 — Upload Your Videos
Open the app from your Shopify admin.
Click Upload Video and select a video file from your device.
Once uploaded, the video will appear in your Video Library dashboard.
You can upload multiple videos and manage them all from one place.
Edit video details or delete any video at any time — changes reflect on your storefront automatically.
Supported Formats
Standard video formats are supported. MP4 is recommended for the best compatibility and performance across all devices.
Step 4 — Tag a Product to Each Video
In your Video Library, open a video and click Tag Product.
Search for and select the product you want to link to that video.
When a customer clicks the product tag in the gallery, they'll be taken directly to that product page — ready to buy.
One product per video.
Currently, one product can be tagged per video. Choose the most relevant product to maximise click-through and conversions.
Step 5 — Create a Widget
Go to the Widgets section in the app and click Create Widget.
Give your widget a name and choose a layout — Grid or Slider.
Add the videos you want to include in the gallery.
Click Save — a unique Widget ID will be generated for this widget.
Grid vs SliderGrid — structured multi-column layout, great for showcasing a collection. Slider — horizontal scroll layout, ideal for a modern, editorial storefront feel.
Step 6 — Paste Widget ID & Publish
Copy your Widget ID from the app, go back to your Shopify theme editor, find the Shoppable Video Gallery block you added in Step 2, paste the Widget ID into the input field, and click Save.
1. In the app → Widgets → open your widget → copy the Widget ID
2. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize
3. Find the Shoppable Video Gallery block you added
4. Paste the Widget ID into the Widget ID field
5. Click Save — your gallery is now live!
You're all set!
